Well, I certainly don't want to tell you can't. I'm just not sure the casserole will come out. Maybe try blending some apples or pears and use that as a substitute for the bananas?

Hi this recipe looks delicious but I'm on a strict anti-candida diet and can't eat any dried fruits, just fresh apples, pears, kiwis and pinapples. Can I substitute bananas and blueberries with any of the fruits I can eat?

Heh, hope you enjoy it.
Do they do a different grain every day? That's a fun idea.

We are definitely trying this one. Reiley has millet for snack at school every week (Wednesday is "millet day"), so I've been wanting to try it at home too. The fact that it is a casserole AND involves flax to help fight the constipation that plagues my children makes this a Heffern must! I'll let you know how it goes.

Hehe. This recipe has been kicking around in my head for quite some time. I really want to make more recipes with millet. (Mike has decided it's his favorite grain.) I'll have to do more experimenting with the flax meal too. We shall see what I come up with. Or you can make up the recipes and I'll reap the benefits. ;)

OH MY Goodness!! This is a perfect recipe for me! I love whole millet and blueberries just happen to be one of my favorite berries! I love how you didn't use any refined flours in this, along with NO eggs!! THANK YOU! I can't wait to try this! ;-)
